What are we into at the moment?

Yoga has been around for 1000's of years and no wonder that during a pandemic, so many people turned to online yoga and found solace in it for the first time. We truly believe that Yoga can solve everything from a tight calf muscle to a life problem.

Often we turn to journalling as yogis, and indeed as part of our teacher training this is exactly what is prescribed - daily journalling.

Writing a journal every day is a great way to decompress. If you just want to write your shopping list, or you want to organise your life or you even want to start your novel, the journal is the place to start and we encourage all yoga practitioners to take up pen and paper.

How to journal

  1. Try the 66 Day Method..... after 66 days it has been proven that you make things a habit so try it, as you write your journal for the first time, write Day 1. And then day 2 and so on and maybe you too by Day 66 will start to feel the habit kick in!

  2. Try to write every day. Set aside a few minutes every day to write. 2 minutes or 20 as long as it's something.

  3. Make it easy. Keep a pen and paper handy at all times. ...

  4. Write or draw whatever feels right. Your journal doesn't need to follow any certain structure. ...

  5. Use your journal as you see fit. You don't have to share your journal with anyone, this is something which is truly yours.

  6. Go enjoy!
