New to yoga, we have classes for every level!
New To Yoga?

Many students begin with 1-1 yoga, sessions start at £55 per session. For classes, we recommend starting with one of our easier classes such as Go Hatha or Go REcharge.  After you have completed a few classes you will want to get a  block of 5 or 10.

 

 
Done some Hot Yoga, Yoga or Pilates before?

Just jump right in and take one of our new client offers, at present we have drops ins, blocks and an unlimited pass for three months for just £150, then book away and try our classes. We even have a teacher training course for you!

 

 

FAQ's

Changing rooms
Since the pandemic we no longer have Changing Rooms,  Go Yoga Hiive has no specific changing facility, but there are cubby holes to leave your things.

 

Should I eat before class?
It is best not to eat a big meal within 4 hours of a class. A healthy snack 1-2 hours before is fine.

 

Can I buy any refreshments?
The Hiive has a pop up bar and you can at certain times pre order smoothies and drinks.  Bottles of water are available as well as San Pellegrino!

We recommend you bring a water bottle especially to hot yoga. We do sell water bottles if you forget yours.

Bring a mat if you would like to but we do have plenty of mats you can borrow.
Bring a towel to hot yoga and pilates classes. 

 

How often should I practice?
There is significant benefit in coming to class 2-3 times a week. Expect to see dramatic mind and body benefits from this level of attendance. Almost all of our new clients are seeking some kind of change. Attending 2-3 times a week regularly will bring about that change. Guaranteed.

 

What should I do when I arrive?

At the Hiive, we are located on the first floor above the Hiive Cafe and shop.  The stairs are through the cafe on the right.  

Try to arrive 15 minutes early so you can relax a little before the class.  If you haven't done so already, please fill in a medical questionnaire and hand it to your teacher. Please remove your shoes before entering the studio.  You can bring your personal belongings in the studio with you.
 

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing and a couple of layers. Most people wear gym style clothing. For hot yoga we recommend leggings or shorts and a vest style top - as you will get hot. 

 

Pregnant?
Please inform your instructor as not all classes are suitable for pregnancy.  Please ask for an advice sheet and we ask all our pregnant ladies to sign a pregnancy disclaimer form. 

 

What is the Cancellation Policy?
All classes start on time, if you are late your place may offered to another student.
If you do arrive late please do not enter the class.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Classes
If cancelled 24 hours before the class has started you get a full refund.
If cancelled after 24 hours, there is no refund unless a medical reason is provided with a note from your medical practitioner.
Courses
If cancelled before 48 hours we can refund you, less an admin fee.
If cancelled after 48 hours, there is no refund unless a medical reason is provided with a note from your medical practitioner.
Workshops
If cancelled before 72 hours notice we can refund you the full amount.
If cancelled after 72 hours notice, there is no refund unless a medical reason is provided with a note from your medical practitioner.

1-1 Appointments
If cancelled before 48 hours notice we can refund you the full amount of the appointment cost.
If cancelled after 48 hours notice 50% of your appointment cost will be refunded.
If cancelled after 24 hours notice the full amount of the appointment cost will be payable.

If you would like to cancel or modify a reservation or appointment, click "Cancel." 

"Late Cancel" appears when the online cancellation period has passed. This option can be used to allow another person to register in that availability. For more information, please contact Go yoga at 07471 933488.
