We don’t mean to boast, but we think that Go Yoga is a pretty awesome family to belong to!
Whether you are thinking of joining us for the first time or have been part of the family for some time, we want you to feel like you belong to a community who are always there for you and to guide you along your yoga journey.
To help you to get to know us a little better, here are some facts about us that you may or may not know…
1. Our studio is state of the art
Go Yoga Hornbeam Park is a stunning yoga studio, which we are proud to welcome you to. The studio is equipped with infrared heating, which we use for our hot yoga and glow yoga sessions, so you will never be cold when you enter the room! We are also one of the only studios in the country equipped for aerial yoga, which you can try during one of our regular workshops. We have lots of car parking spaces, changing facilities and the amazing Indulge cafe is below the studio for post-yoga smoothies, salads and wraps!
2. We are open 7 days a week with 29 regular classes
Whether you are in need of a Monday morning reviver or a Sunday evening flow, we have a huge range of classes to suit everyone’s lives and diaries. We have a choice of over 29 classes each week, run by some of the area’s top teachers. From invigorating hot yoga flows to classes that focus on rest and destress, we ensure that there is plenty of choice for all.
3. We use the very best yoga mats
Quite simply, we use the best mats available from any other studio. Made of rubber, no slip and perfect even in the hottest of yoga classes, you will never want to go back to any other mat. Inspired by the fitforme mat, this is a unique mat, which wears with your practise and helps you balance, grow and improve your postures. You can borrow one of these marvellous mats each time you visit or pick up your own for just £65.
4. We welcome yogis of all abilities
From total beginners to experienced yogis, we have classes to suit everyone. It normally says on our schedule who the class is suitable for, but if you are unsure, then please just get in touch and ask us.
5. Your first class is buy-one-get-one-free
We want you to really fall in love with Go Yoga from the start. This is why we offer a free second session when you visit us for the first time. We recommend you visit a couple of different classes from the schedule, so you can experience different teaching styles and types of yoga class.
6. We have a second studio in Harrogate town centre
We have a second studio space, located at Go Revolution, Commercial Street in Harrogate town centre. The studio here is a little smaller, but equally as lovely. We offer showers, juice bar, coffee and plenty of disc-free parking. You could also try an awesome spin class while you are there!
7. We hold 10 gong baths throughout the year
Yogi Bhajan suggested all Yogis should have 10 x one-hour gong baths to rejuvenate their mind and bodies. So, we took the advice and offer these sessions as part of our annual workshop calendar. Gong Baths are one of the most soothing, body detoxing holistic rejuvenating vibrational ancient tools – they create a sound massage for the whole body and mind. If you haven’t experienced the delights of a gong bath session yet, you are in for a real treat.
8. We even offer rave yoga!
Last year, we hosted a rave yoga session at the Deershed Festival and it was so much fun! Therefore, we thought it might be even more fun to run a rave session in our own studio.
Taking place in September, our rave yoga class will be upbeat, relaxed and chilled in equal measures. Expect some great uplifting tunes from our resident DJ, mood lighting and a most fantastic vibe. A whole new yoga experience awaits you.
9. We can come to your office
If your office or place of work could do with a bit of zen, then we can come to you with some Go Yoga loving. We offer our teachers and/or facilities to you for staff retreats or wellness days, which we can customise completely to your needs. Get in touch to see how we can transform your workplace mood and increase motivation with your team.
10. We can teach you to become a yoga teacher
If yoga has been your passion for a few years and you want to take it to the next level, then have you considered training to become a yoga teacher? Our Level 1 - Yoga Teacher Training course offers online training in modules such as yoga philosophy, anatomy and physiology and the principles of yoga, among many others. We will also teach you how to create a yoga sequence and prepare to teach a class. This could be the start of a new career path for you in something that you adore…..
